Other than glances at the school using Google Maps, I wasn’t able to find a complete map of the layout of Gullett. I am a very visual learner so I decided to put together my own map to help explain my time there. I have attached the map below along with the school’s evacuation plans.
Gullett has a fairly common layout: the main building with the offices, cafeteria, essential areas, teachers lounge and work room, and the classrooms are in wings and portables surrounding the main building.
Something that I loved about Gullett was it’s security measures that were integrated into the building layout. All of the doors on campus lock automatically and are only able to be unlocked with a teachers electronic ID badge. This keeps access to the buildings limited and made me feel very safe on campus.
