Hello there! My name is Alaina Engdahl.
I am a student at St. Edward’s University, where I study Early Childhood Education. I have attended St. Edward’s for 3 years now and will graduate in December of 2020. I love hanging out in study spots on Campus and connecting with fellow future educators!
I have always had a passion for working with young children and have been privileged to do so in many different ways. I currently work as a nanny, but I have worked in daycares, early learning centers, even as Princess Anna at children’s birthday parties! I also get to work with children through St. Edward’s as I continue working towards becoming a teacher.
I am also very passionate about my family. I married my wife in July 2018, and all of my free time is dedicated to spending time with her, our dogs, and our extended family. We love to get together and cook, laugh, and play board games!
I currently live in Austin, Texas, where I work and go to school. I have always wanted to live in Austin, and ever since moving here I have loved exploring the food, music, and people that Austin offers. I also love to find new dog parks and wander around exploring art!
