As an educator my students are always my number one priority. I have created this teaching philosophy to ground my teaching practices and make sure that I am always engaging with my students in a way that reflects my values and ideas on education.
The 5 main elements I base my teaching philosophy around are making sure the learning space: is a physically and emotionally safe space, is student oriented, has a strong sense of community, is flexible and equitable, and emphasizes personal responsibility and growth.
